Lifetime Warranty
We offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects for the original owner on our titanium frames.
The complete bicycle is warranted for one year (from date of purchase), including all original parts on the bicycle except tires, tubes, chains and other wear & tear items. Paint and decals are covered under this warranty.
All Kite Bicycles carbon forks carry a one year warranty against manufacturing defects to the original owner.
This warranty period starts from the date of original retail purchase. The warranty is only valid if the bicycle is assembled by an authorized Kite Bicycles service center.
Kite Bicycles must be registered on www.Kite Bicycles.us in order to activate the lifetime frame warranty.
Every bicycle has a useful product lifespan. This limited warranty is not meant to suggest or imply that the frame or components can never be broken or will last forever. This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur within the normal lifespan and use of the product.
Non-Kite Bicycles Branded Components, including Non-Kite Branded Forks and Other Components, are covered by the stated warranty, if any, of their manufacturer, and are not covered under this limited warranty.
Details
- This limited warranty applies only to the original owner of the bicycle and is not transferable to subsequent owners.
- Original proof of purchase from Kite Bicycles or an Authorized Dealer is required for all warranty claims.
- Any frame or fork that is found to be defective in materials or workmanship will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Kite Bicycles.
- This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from misuse, abuse, alteration, neglect, wear and tear, crash or impact, lack of maintenance or other conditions judged by Kite Bicycles to be abnormal, excessive, or improper.
- Kite Bicycles may make replacement frames or frame parts available at a minimal charge to the original owner in the event of a crash or other non-warranty situation at its sole discretion.
- All labor charges for warranty service, including the transfer of components and/or any installation of new components, are the responsibility of the bicycle owner.
- For all warranty or crash replacement transactions, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs to get the frame and/or parts to and from Kite Bicycles.
- All components of your bike made by other manufacturers will be covered by the warranty policy of the respective company (SRAM, Shimano, Rock Shox, Mavic, etc). Please address any warranty or repair issues directly with them.
